Please understand that Silver Spikes has no control over inclement weather and can not predict when such weather is set to strike. We will make all attempts to complete clinics should weather play a part in the scheduling of our events. In many cases, an indoor facility will be used to perform the instructional portion of the clinics should inclement weather hit an event. The live games portion of all events are subject to acceptable weather conditions and if weather does not permit the game play, other arrangements will be made for day two of the clinics.
Silver Spikes will have already incurred the expenses associated with facility rentals, hired coaches, flights and travel for coaches, as well as numerous other expenses associated with running our college coached prospect clinics. It may not be feasible to reschedule an event should inclement weather hit so we will make all reasonable efforts to complete said events in a timely manner while working with the original schedule for the clinic. Moving an event to an indoor facility may be an option and is something we will arrange appropriately when feasible.
Safety for our young ball players is our number one priority during an event. Decisions being made, due to inclement weather, will be based on the discretion of the Silver Spikes staff member, the facilities owners, or state umpires should the event already be in to day two. If the clinic has not yet reached day two we will postpone the day one schedule and complete those events on day two instead (if no indoor facility is available for us). Live games schedule for day two may be canceled or shortened at the sole discretion of the Silver Spikes staff. Please be aware that we may start earlier than anticipated on day two should day get rained out in order to complete as much of the original schedule as possible.
Should both days get rained out please see our refund policy for more information.
If an event is canceled BY Silver Spikes prior to the start of the event a full refund will be in order.
